Sorry to say but I was unimpressed with my meal this evening. The chips came with delicious salsa but seemed to have no salt or flavor of their own. We ordered a fajita combo to share and rather than peppers or onions the skillet came with frozen mixed veggies??? I have NEVER had fajitas with broccoli, carrots and zuccini?! Not to mention if i didnt know a little bit of spanish it would have been near impossible to communicate with the server. The drinks were strong which was the reason for 2 stars instead of one.

Came here to El Sombrero for a happy hour on a taco Tuesday. I had one shredded chicken, one shredded beef and one pork adobado on soft corn tortillas. They come with pico de gallo , cheese, and lettuce. All three were pretty good, I’d say the chicken and beef were my favorites. Great frozen strawberry margarita, just perfect

Good place. Popped in during happy hour and just had appitizers. Decent choices, good food! Service was great. Waiter was all over it. Very accommodating. Live music in the front and the restaurant is split in 2, a bar side and a restaurant. Decent sized place. Overall, a good local place, nestled in the corner of a shopping center. If you are looking for decent Mexican food at a good price, definately consider this one. If it were local to me I would eat here pretty often.

Dinner was spectacular. The service, food and atmosphere were all out of this world. We have been here before, and it never disappointed us, but tonight it was extra exceptional. I would highly recommend this restaurant to all that want a great Mexican meal. You will not be disappointed.

I would give NEGATIVE stars if it was possible!!!El Sombrero has seriously declined! I was waiting for over an hour for take out!!!! The girl who took my order was absolutely RUDE and acted like she cared less about getting my order!!! The only thing I actually enjoyed was the Molé sauce. The chimichungas were pre-made. The rice was really d-r-y!! I asked for gluten free and they completely ignored my request. I was overcharged too. When I called to talk to someone about it I was told that if I didn't like it I shouldn't come back.

It wasnt a good first experience. I asked if everything could be made with ground beef I was told yes but then when I got the burrito it was made with shredded beef though my enchilada and taco were made with ground beef. I asked if my husbands food could be made the hottest and the waiter questioned it but I told him he wanted it anyway. Staff was nice just wish food was prepared better also ultra small portions. And not enough availability to choose own combo items.

Such a fun place to be. Food is delicious, staff is very attentive. Great atmosphere. Frozen Mango Margarita is the best drink! Highly recommend.

We only had a couple drinks, Mexican beer and a margarita!! The chips with salsa are really fresh. If you like very spicy salsa ask for it!, it's so good and hot 🔥 the bartender was very friendly and makes you feel welcome!
